We are an American family living in Europe. The experience of living overseas has been an exciting yet sometimes challenging one. We are trying to give our children an experience of a life time but still instill our American values and traditions in them. This site will explore our time in Europe and the experiences it brings.
We have been living in Germany for just over a year now. We have three beautiful children all under the age of 5. Each one brings new challenging and rewarding adventures. Both Craig and I are from small farm towns in Kansas so this experience we are having is beyond our wildest imaginations. We are very greatful for the opportunity we have to live in Europe and look forward to all the adventures before us.

Hello fellow American. My cousin is a Blogger at Kay McGee check out her blog. She sent me to the the blog The Provident Woman because she likes her blog and she was having some cool giveaways. On the Provident Woman I found your site.
My hobby is travel.(locally and through out Europe etc) I was wondering what part of Germany you are in? I love in Hampton Cove, AL (a golf course community minutes from Huntsville AL). One of my Alabama neighbors is living for a year in Stuttgart Germany and I wondered if you were near her. She is originally from Mt.Scott, Portland, Oregon. I will be traveling to Italy in June for a week cooking school in the Tuscany area near Sienna. I will then go by train to Germany to the Passion Play as you may know it is only performed every 10 years. My AL/Germany friend might be joining me for 2 days to see the play if I can get another ticket for her. I was wondering if you are familiar with the city Oberammergau where the play is performed. Look forward to reading your post when it is not so late at night as is the case of the time of my writing. A favor of a reply would be appreciated when you have a spare minute or two.
Thanks,
Kathy Ludwig
